Subject: Athena Cluster Doors
I am in the process of developing a plan for making Athena Cluster doors
more accessible to persons with disabilities by changing the hardware
and lowering the electronic keypads where appropriate. I would like to
solicit comments from members of this group before starting so that I
can be sensitized to any issues that I may or may not already be aware
of.
If you would like to send me a comment, suggestion or recommendation
about access to Athena Clusters I can be reached at reward@mit.edu or at
3-7996. I suppose Athena Cluster access might also include elevator
accessibility as well so comments on specific elevators could also be
useful. Please be as specific as possible when you respond if you have
a criticism.
I would like to move on this project as quickly as possible so your
prompt reply is greatly appreciated.
