It sounds to me like your printing problem was due to a mistyped
command. For example, accidentally typing "pr" instead of "lpr" might
have resulted in the printed output you described.
To find out how to get a refund on incorrect printing, run "help" and
select:
12. Answers to common questions
18. PRINTING Answers
12. How to get a REFUND for BAD PAGES
If you do that, here is what you'll see:
If there are problems with your printed output, such as smudges, crooked
printing, or extra marks on the page, we'll gladly give you a refund. Just
submit the pages in question, along with a "Project Athena Printing Refund
Form" to a User Accounts Consultant in either E40-357 or 11-115. We'll adjust
your account, and report the problem with the printer or the software.
The forms are available in the Athena Consultants' office (11-115).
When you notice a problem with a printer, you may also want to notify the
Athena Hardware Hotline so they can repair it. They can be reached at 3-1410,
or by sending mail to "hotline@athena". Thanks!
