What's wrong:
"xdsc" does not die when I log out. It remains active on my X server.
What should have happened:
It should die when I log out of athena-x, just like "zwgc" does.
No, it shouldn't. Zwgc is the exception here, not xdsc. Because zwgc
is exclusively run in the background and users do not even know
they're running it, it must exit when the user logs out. On the other
hand, most X clients do not, in fact, know when you "log out" and exit
automatically; they only exit when you tell them to or when you reset
the X server.
Xdsc is not doing anything wrong. How is it supposed to know that you
don't want it to keep running after you've logged out?
