picky SIS course search bug --- requires 'J' in joint classes

In SIS, I select 'Course Catalogue' from the main menu, followed by
'Select Subject Directly'. I then search for '18.404'. SIS fails to
find the class, as it is listed in SIS under 18.404J. Since x.xxx and
x.xxxJ are never distinct classes, SIS should have found the class for
me anyway.
