Yong,
By the time you get this message, you will probably have noticed that
you now have a permanent directory. Due to some problems with logging,
I mistakenly thought the system was quiescent when I replaced a binary
on the Moira server (registration server) and during that time a few
users were not properly registered. I am sorry about any inconvenience
this may have caused.
Everyone else:
The reg_svr has been restarted and logging is now working again... In
all, the following users were affected:
rkowalis haeseong acohen gerardo ante nyker
nitin tchiang rcao kenneth drdoom
(The swap had a tiny mistake, so in all it was about 5 seconds at
Aug 28 14:02; the logs stopped around 13:56, which was what confused
me...)
All known anomolies have been corrected, but I will continue searching
for more.
