edsc 'c' breaks

I am using the athena 7.4 emacs discuss, edsc version:
(25 "(Wed May 6 08:27:51 EDT 1992) builder@minos:/afs/rel-eng.athena.mit.edu/project/release/current/build/rt_aos4/athena/athena.bin/discuss/edsc")
with dicscuss.el RCS version 1.32.
When I press 'c' while in the hotline meeting to catch up, emacs says:
(beep) Couldn't update changes flag for meeting Hotline Meeting.
Sometimes the next command I attempt after the failed 'c' says
(beep) No such meeting
This is the line from my .meetings:

Other meetings don't seem to break.
Feature suggestion: add an option to edsc to log all commands and responses
to a file for debugging.
