What were you trying to do?
use the function dotchart()
What's wrong:
The dots should only go up the endmarker, like this

instead, the dots go all the way across the screen

note this is under the X11() window
this also failed for the exact example given in
help(dotchart), the online documentation (using
the mouse to cut the example from the helppage
and glue it into the s window)
