Which emacs was I looking at? According to my MANPATH, /mit/gnu/man
comes before /usr/athena/man, so I was reading from
/mit/gnu/man/man1/emacs.1. Is the emacs on athena 'athenized' too so
that it's different from GNU's?
1) The gnu locker is not supported by Athena. It is not in the Athena
release. Bug reports about it should be sent to "gnu", not to "bugs".
2) It seems somewhat incongruous to me for you to be looking at a man
page in the gnu locker for a program that is installed in the Athena
release. It would seem more consistent to read the man page in the
release.
3) Yes, Athena's emacs is different from the emacs documented in the
gnu locker's man page. Obviously.
