What were you trying to do?
I put the following in my ~/.Xresources:
emacs.Mouse: yellow
emacs.Cursor: cyan1
What's wrong:
xrdb ~/.Xresources
emacs &
does not give me a yellow pointer nor a cursor with cyan1 color.
(I had to set the colors with M-x x-set-mouse-color and
M-x x-set-cursor-color).
What should have happened:
Should have changed the pointer and cursor in emacs to the specified
colors as advertized in man emacs.
