A brief synopsis of the problem:
PROCHART dies when it tries to establish a Hardware connection
with the SPACE BAR.

Please describe the problem in detail (mention any necessary files or
commands that may be involved, on which machine the bug happened, and what
the program did that was wrong):
It appears to be machine-independant. When PROCHART starts, it gives a
X protocol mismatch error. When I go into setup mode, and the cursor
is on 'xterm', I type the space bar. PROCHART gives two more protocol
erorrs, then something like "Parameter not a font - X error 94". The
window dies shortly thereafter, so we can't see it exactly. "xprochart"
never even gets started, so we can't compare it with that.
