I get this message when I log in, presumably because my mail
is forwarded. This has always happened, but I'm sending a bug report
now because I recall reading that this should no longer happen in 7.4.
Could you be more specific about where you "recall reading that this
should no longer happen?" I don't see anything in the RCS logs for
the program to indicate the behavior was changed, nor do I recall
reading anything about it in any of the release notes.
It's not even obvious to me that this is a bug.
