What do you mean, exactly, when you say that "the machine crashed?"
Do you mean that (a) the X server crashed, (b) ez crashed, or (c) the
machine rebooted? If (a), did you check the X server logs on the
workstation to find out why the server crashed? If (b), were there
any error messages in the window from which ez was started? If (c),
did you check the syslogs on the workstation to find out why the
machine rebooted?
