A user today managed to enter "\emacs" as a topic for an OLC question.
It turns out that any valid topic can be preceeded by a backslash and
still be accepted by olc. I don't know whether the specialty
forwarding works properly when such a topic is entered; however, I do
know that in this situation, the stock answers tree is not accessible,
because when olc tries to access the "\emacs" branch of the tree, the
tree reader barfs and gives up.
