I think saying an error message saying it cannot find the database and
telling you which one it couldn't find is a fair message under
these circumstances. It is certainly on part, if not better, than most
other unix error messages for the same problem. Pragmatically, we're
running an old version of the OS, and info is a third party product within
IBM; I wouldn't hold my breath for seeing a fix soon even if a design change
request was put in.
