If you are receiving multiple zephyr windows for each zephyr message
you receive, then you are running multiple zwgc processes. If you are
also receiving a text version of each message, then you are running a
zwgc in TTY mode as well.
There are, as far as we know, no Athena bugs that would cause multiple
zwgc clients to be run without your intervention. I can only conclude
that you have done something to cause this behavior. I suggest you
try to track down what you have done; at the very least, that will
give us more information from which to approach the problem.
If you do not know how to find out whether or not you are running
multiple zwgc processes, and how to figure out why if you are, I
suggest you talk to Athena's user consultants. You can do that by
using the "olc" command, or by calling x3-4435, or by stopping by room
11-115, the consulting office.
It is usually a good idea to check with the Athena user consultants
before reporting a bug, so that they can help you to verify that what
you are reporting is, in fact, a bug, and so that they can determine
what details you should provide when sending in your bug report.
Thank you for your report.
