As it currently exists, this version of xterm puts an extra row of
pixels between the left edge and the first character of text on each
line. I am running it on my own (non-Athena) 3100, accessing through
atalanta, and if I use mixed Ultrix/Athena windows, the Athena ones do
not line up. An Ultrix 4.2 release xterm produces a window one pixel
narrower, and lines it up one pixel to the right with my current
resources (below). Thus, -geometry 80x24-0-0 puts the Ultrix window
completely onscreen flush with the lower right corner, and the Athena
window flush with the bottom, but with the border off the right edge
of the screen by one pixel.
(I discovered this accidentally during a path experiment...I wouldn't
normally use mixed windows. I don't have a personal stake in your
fixing this problem, but thought you might like to know about it.)
