What were you trying to do?
use dbx with fortran on RS6000
What's wrong:
When I compile using xlf -g, dbx still can't read symbolic information.
strip works, so I am assuming that the compilation was correct.
What should have happened:
dbx should have read the sybolic info.

man xlf, info xlf.
