The problem here is that there are 2 versions of Simulab available
at Athena, the DECstation version and the VAX version. The VAX version
is older and buggier than the DECstation version. Also, there are some
incompatibilities in how the 2 versions store a system representation.
The result is that systems created (or modified) on a DECstation cannot
be used on a VAXstation. Systems created on a VAX can be used on a
DECstation, but if modified cannot be taken back to a VAX.
Your best option is to only use the DECstation version. I do not
expect that the VAX version will ever be updated.
One final note. In the future please do not send bug reports like this
to the vendor. It is a waste of their time, particularly if the person
dealing with them is not familiar with the Athena environemnt.
