I have encountered 3 particularly annoying bugs with the RS/6000 workstations.
1: when the mouse is on the border of an xterm window, I can't type in that
window.
2: when I run xdvi in reverse video mode, I get a black background, but each
of the individual characters is printed in black and surrounded by a white box
which is roughly the size of the character. This makes reading extremely
difficult.
3: The mouse sticks whenever the machine is crunching away at something that
requires a lot of computation. It seems that the user interface was put on a
very low priority.
If there is any way around any of these bugs, please let me know. None of the
other workstations I've been on has had any of these problems. Thanks in
advance for your help.
