I was just starting to log in on portnoy; the console window was still
up. Suddenly, I saw the following message in the console:

machine check in user mode...
machine check: mcs_pcs=0x800300<MACHINE-CHECK, IO-TRAP, USER>,
	info=0x0, iar=0x703e, ics_cs=0xe870018<CHKSTOP-MASK, XLATE,
	USER, STG-PROT>

	SEAR=6be044 TRAR=7cd800 TCR=107f<TLIPT> HAT/IPT=7f
msreset: coldn't set resolution
keyboard init done.
psp init done.

Then the LED's went to "94", the system stopped responding to mouse
and keyboard, and stopped responding to ping as well.

The above data is copied by hand; although it appeared in the console
window, I can't find any evidence of it on disk... the reboot happened
around 2103 13April1992, if that helps you find it on wslogger.

[The reason I'm sending this to bugs is that I remember changes being
made that changed the way the RT responded to a machine check (ie.
just log it, don't panic, if the machine is in user mode) and that
this seems to be a case where the machine still wedged...]
