What were you trying to do?
Find out whether syslogs of "reboot: rebooted by $USER" always
indicate that a reboot has been initiated.
What's wrong:
The syslog occurs even if reboot fails and prints a "reboot:
can't idle init" error message.
What should have happened:
Permission to reboot should be ascertained before sending out
the syslog, or else the syslog message should refer to something like
"reboot attempt by $USER".
