What were you trying to do?
Read the mail in /site/usr/spool/mail/jik on pit-manager,
using emacs and movemail, over NFS from an RS/6000.
What's wrong:
It doesn't work, I suspect because the file locking that
movemail uses doesn't work over NFS from an RS/6000. It works
from VAX, RT and DECstation workstations, though.
What should have happened:
The file locking should work properly from an RS/6000.
