Recently (last few days) I have been unable to attach ATLAS over dialup.
When logging in on campus its fine, but over dialup I get a Device busy
message.
In the last 5 minutes I have tried 7 times on 3 different dialup machines
to get my home directory to no avail.
The best place to report problems with the dialup servers is the
"bug-dialup" mailing list, or, as the dialup motd says, by contacting
Athena's consultants at x3-4435 or by using olc.
The problem you are experiencing is a known bug in the dialup
configuration, one which we have unfortunately not been able to track
down and fix. When people report it, we fix it on a case-by-case
basis. I have fixed the dialup servers so that your home directory
should attach successfully on all of them.
Incidentally, the problem has nothing to do with "atlas" in general;
it has to do with your home directory in particular.
