Subject: Document '[' linked to 'test', in the Bourne shell man page
The use of [ as 'test' in Bourne shell should be noted in the
sh(1) man page, since it's such a common idiom. At the moment, I believe
there's absolutely no place that it's mentioned in the manual pages (not
in sh(1), test(1), and there's no [(1)). True, the number of people that
would be helped by this is relatively small, but it's also very, very
simple to fix. And it would be a good step towards lessening the
obscurity and reliance on oral tradition that is UNIX.
