What were you trying to do?
Typing text into emacs or the composition window of
xmh under 7.2 with mwm or 7.3 with vtwm.
What's wrong:
Missed keystrokes. I am not a fast typist. My keystrokes will
stop appearing in the window, and then after a few seconds an initial
subset will apear in the window. The rest are lost. This is irritating
if you are doing blind typing. I would say that this happens on average
twice per page. Outages average about five seconds.
What should have happened:
Emacs and xmh should have caught all the text.
