System name:		portnoy
Type and version:	RTPC-ROMPC 7.3P (1 update(s) to same version)
Display type:		apa16

What were you trying to do?

        Add the meeting described in [0397] in New_Meetings. I was
using the version of discuss in /usr/athena/bin/discuss.

What's wrong:

        When I typed am at the "discuss: " prompt, it dumped core with
a segmentation violation. When I started discuss again and attempted
to add the meeting in the same way, it succeeded (i.e., this is not a
repeatable problem).

The core dump is in /mit/coredumps/core.mhpower.920210.rt.discuss.F.

    % dbx discuss /usr/tmp/mhp/core
    dbx version 3.5 of 7/28/91 17:28 (minos).
    Type 'help' for help.

    write() at 0x740000ff

What should have happened:

        It should have added the meeting.
