We have investigated this and found it unlikely (but not impossible)
that the program was at fault. Is there any chance that you gave the
"-i" option to either dosdir or doswrite? This option causes it to
re-initialize the floppy, clearing all files stored on it. Another
possibility is that the floppy might have been removed while the
workstation was still writing to it.
In any case, running the norton utilities on a PC you may be able to
recover the files if you have not done anything else with the floppy.
We're sorry for the problem, and will keep watch for any software
problems that may have caused this.
