System name: fries
Type and version:	CVAXSTAR 7.3P (1 update(s) to same version)
Display type: SM

What were you trying to do?
Use ez to edit a plain ascii file.

What's wrong:
	Ez got horribly confused.

It gets confused in many, many ways... too many to list here,
I'm afraid. A live demo is much more effective and amusing.
I'll try to list a few here anyway... Type:

		more /afs/athena/user/v/vanharen/benletter

Notice that it is a normal, plain text file. Now:

		ez /afs/athena/user/v/vanharen/benletter

Notice that the only text displayed is the number 27 (which
*does* appear in the file, by the way). Now use the right-arrow
key to move forward through the document -- keep going until the
scrollbar thumb hits the bottom of the scrollbar trough. Watch
the scrollbar do funky things. Now go backward using the
left-arrow key. Watch ez get wedged. Find runapp in your ps
listing and kill it. Restart it, and try these fun things...
resize the window so that it is 536 pixels wide. Look at the
funny text in the last column, printed vertically. Now try 545
	pixels wide.

With experimentation, you can find other fun things to do, too.
	Enjoy!

What should have happened:
It should not be so much fun.

Please describe any relevant documentation references:
	N/A.
