What were you trying to do?
Tar a directory structure without getting the RCS directories.
What's wrong:
I couldn't figure out how to do it. jfc mentioned the -F option to
the VAX and RT tar that ignores RCS directories, .o files, and maybe
~ files. This option is not documented in the man page.
What should have happened:
The -F option should have been documented, since it's very useful.
