There seem to be several problems with techinfo.
1) telnetting straight from a pasta server, I got an error when using vt100 as
my emulation program (vt52 worked fine)
The error said something (after saying initializing...) and then said
exiting... it then put up the main menu and, two seconds later, it
disconnected.
It seems to work fine when telnetting to techinfo from athena
2) telnetting to techinfo from athena is different that typing techinfo
straight from the athena prompt.
telnetting gives a complete 14-entry menu system
typing techinfo gives a smaller 12-entry menu system
did someone forget to update the athena version?
