What were you trying to do?
The following has happened to me twice. I was in the X news reader,
just happened to be reading news in rec.boats. I exited normally and
entered xmh to compose a message. I killed a line (CTRL-K CTRL-K) and
went to insert it elsewhere in the text with a CTRL-Y. What was
entered was a line from the news reader - something like
Unread news in rec.boats 1 article
not the line I had killed!
What's wrong:
Obviously I want my line, not a message from the previous program I
was running!
What should have happened:
I should have yanked my killed line.
