What were you trying to do?
On an RS/6000, I tried issuing the command "ls -AFlgu | more" to get a
long listing of my files piped through "more".
What's wrong:
I noticed that "more" fails to clear the xterm window properly when
used in this pipeline. Instead of clearing the screen before displaying
the next page, "more" simply overwrited the text of the previous page
with the new text.
The first page of the output began with this:
