Display type: SM

What were you trying to do?

Logon in a *reasonable* amount of time.

What's wrong:

There is a rogue process chewing up CPU time like there's no tommorrow.
ps oputput:

USER PID %CPU %MEM SZ RSS TT STAT TIME COMMAND
         23125 88.0 3.1 1021 185 ? R N 104:13 mwm
cyrus 23593 17.0 1.9 153 117 p0 R 0:00 (ps)
root 23495 4.1 10.3 976 653 ? S 0:35 X -v :0 -fp=/etc/athena/login/fonts/ -co /etc/athena/login
cyrus 23515 0.7 4.3 674 269 ? S 0:03 xterm -name xterm1 -geometry 108x65+886+1
cyrus 23513 0.5 11.3 1137 717 ? S 0:22 emacs

The process appears to have no owner!

What should have happened:

All of the previous user's processes should have died at logout. Maybe an MWM bug?
