What were you trying to do?
i was trying to change the group of one of my files from my group to
another group to which i belong
What's wrong:
/mit/aybee%chgrp zetapsi-fraternity dummy
chgrp: change group for dummy: Permission denied
and the group of the file was not changed
What should have happened:
it should have changed the group of the file to zetapsi-fraternity
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
man chgrp
BTW -- it works on a VAXstation 3100.....
