What were you trying to do?
Use nfsid -r -a to remove all mappings of my homedir
What's wrong:
I had done a kdestroy beforehand. This caused nfsid -r -a to
NOT remove the mappings. The output of nfsid -r -a was:
[ 3:29am | 188 ] ~ :->nfsid -r -a
nfsid: m24-vssys ignored (operation not supported on RVD)
nfsid: dpeisach ignored (operation not supported on AFS)
nfsid: x11r4 ignored (operation not supported on AFS)
nfsid: sipb ignored (operation not supported on AFS)
nfsid: Could not get Kerberos ticket (rvdsrv.odysseus@ATHENA.MIT.EDU)
for filesystem olc-stock, kerberos error is: No ticket file (tf_util)
nfsid: 6appeal ignored (operation not supported on AFS)
nfsid: Could not get Kerberos ticket (rvdsrv.aphrodite@ATHENA.MIT.EDU)
for filesystem yandros, kerberos error is: No ticket file (tf_util)
nfsid: Could not get Kerberos ticket (rvdsrv.atlas@ATHENA.MIT.EDU)
for filesystem 3.091, kerberos error is: No ticket file (tf_util)
nfsid: x11 ignored (operation not supported on AFS)
I did not know that nfsid -r -a needed tickets, and it wasn't
obvious to me that it would. This is my problem. However, it was
unclear to me that nfsid -r -a had not worked as I expected.
What should have happened:
The error message should have been more noticable, IMHO. Had I had
a large number of things attached, I would almost certainly have
missed it.
