What were you trying to do?
piping gcc output to either more or a file using | or >
What's wrong:
basically the pipe command was ignored.
What should have happened:
file should have contained gcc output - in fact it was blank
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
I know its un supported but its becoming the defult soon hence report.
