What's wrong:
there were bugs in my dotfiles, and I got the following error in
the console window:
(this is with $verbose set, sipb tcsh)
05:02 ( `/bin/athena/machtype -c == POWER ) then
05:02 Unmatched `.
Problem is, that's all I got. My windowmanager was running, so I used
that to get an xterm. It turned out there was also a session_gate
running, so something didn't handle an error return correctly.
What should have happened:
It should have continued, or exited.
