Over the past week or so I have been having a much higher than normal rate
of problems with dialup, in particular it has been excruciatingly slow
(like 10 or more minutes to log in) and I often get the unable to
attach home directory message.
Though these things seem to have coincided with my starting to use dialup
from my mitnet mac & NCSA telnet, I can't imagine why that would be the
problem.
