I think there is a bug in the 6.0C/RT X server with XClearArea. At
least the problem shows up in xterm. To reproduce, "more" a couple of
files in a row and set the screen such that another window overlaps
the last line of one of the files. When more tries to clear the line
(using a clear-to-end-of-line xterm ESC sequence), only that part of
the line displayed above the bottom border of the second window will
get cleared.
