What were you trying to do?
read my mail in emacs.
What's wrong:
If I try to do something in emacs mh-rmail mode while my
mailbox is busy (like some mail is being delivered) I get a
message telling me this IN the mh-e show buffer. Forever
thereafter, I cannot rescan the folder, or process outstanding
stuff because it barfs on the line
inc: -ERR Maildrop for lavin is busy. Please try again in a few moments.
which the appears there when the error happens. The error message
is:
Wrong type argument: integer-or-marker-p, nil
And the mh-e show buffer is not writable, so I can't kill the line.
Now, I'm not much of an emacs guru, so there's probably some
incredibly obvious 12-key-stroke command that fixes this. But
I can't figure out how to find it. And I could have bothered
folks in the watchmaker area, and they'd probably know it, but
I felt more like sending a bug report. It's been that kind of
day, sorry.
What should have happened:
You should be able to clean up your mh-e show buffer somehow.
Or "rescan folder" should clean up the garbage. Or something.
