What were you trying to do?
I'm not sure if this is bugs, or if there was something unusual
in the setup of my afs locker.
What's wrong:
My prompts says:
(kevles) Meow?
instead of:
(~) Meow?
In my .cshrc.mine it says:
set prompt = '(%c) Meow? '
BUT (Notice the prompt change):
(kevles) Meow? pwd
/afs/athena.mit.edu/user/k/kevles
(kevles) Meow? cd
(~) Meow?
Also:
(kevles) Meow? quota -v
Disk quotas for kevles (uid 14975):

(What about MY quota?)
kevles IS mounted on /mit.
Hesiod says:
FILSYS: AFS /afs/athena.mit.edu/user/k/kevles w /mit/kevles
What should have happened:
My prompt should not need me to cd in order to recognize that I'm in my
home directory.
I should get my quota when I ask for it, not just everyone else's quota.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
Please let me know if either or both of these oddities are actually
caused by something unusual in my AFS setup, rather than by bugs.
