I believe someone was looking into this problem and had thought
a patch had been made to some timeout (perhaps in the "from"
program) to fix it. Evidently I'm wrong. Is there a solution?

I have a problem & an olc consultant suggested I should write to you about
it. This has been happening for about a week or two already. Every time
I log in and if I have mail messages, it doesn't tell me how many I have, but
instead says this:
16:12 from: can't find post office server.
16:12 from: Trying unix mail drop...
Is this a serious problem? And is there any way I can get it back to normal?
I hope you can tell me how to fix it. Thank you.
