Hi Jeff,
Technically, you're correct that this is a bug, but I don't know
if we can change the behavior; it may be an ez feature for all I know.
We define the NEOS course name to be exactly what the instructor
requests, (21.735.3), and we expect him/her to communicate this name to
the class. However, since there is exactly one neos course that starts
with 21.735, the change course command automatically expanded it to
21.735.3, a valid course.
By the way, if you ever want to see a list of valid neos course
names, the command 'fxls' (file exchange ls) will do just that.
