What were you trying to do?
Change root's password.
What's wrong:
Running 'passwd' gets the Athena (kpasswd) program. This is perhaps
understand able. However, when you select the Change User Password
from a smit menu, you get "Usage: kpasswd ....".
What should have happened:
Perhaps the Athena passwd progrm should be changed to 'kpasswd'.
Either that, or smit needs to be fixed to use /bin/passwd explicitly,
or the default path has to be changed.
