Use the backspace key on the keyboard.
It truly is mapped to the backspace character ^H.
What's wrong:
X key mapping. Wouldn't it be more logical to put the delete key there, like
it is on every other workstation.
What should have happened:
Should have send a DEL instead of ^H.
