What were you trying to do?
Run the Info Explorer without DISPLAY set.
What's wrong:
It tries to bring up a tty-based info client, which is what I
expected, but it produces confusing and garbled text. Running it in
an aixterm shows some improvement, but not much. It still does not
respond to some of the letters on the keyboard. The terminal size
setting is correct, but only the return key seems to do anything.
What should have happened:
I should at least be able to use the keyboard to select one of
the menu options, e.g., "search" and be able to get something to
happen.
