As far as I can tell, none of these manual pages make any mention of
the kerberos authentication function of these commands. Is it not
correct that all of these commands first attempt to verify using
kerberos, and if that is unsuccessful fall back to standard UCB
methods? If this is so, shouldn't the manual pages point this out?
