(sorry about the above, i got the problem in bldg 66 and wrote this on

What were you trying to do?
I was using xmh. the problem occurs consistently when you
edit more than one message (say, in the inbox). I believe the error
happens exactly when you try to save the second message, though i'm
not quite sure at the moment; i'll check it when i next go into mit.
What's wrong:
The program will crash, with the error "Cannot perform calloc"
or something like that.
What should have happened:
well, xmh should have saved the edited message.
