7.3 VAX update broke links

Beeblebrox, a VAX 3100, was updated to 7.3. When it finished, /usr/athena
was a link to /site/server/usr/athena, but /site/server contained only an
etc subdirectory (no .services file). I think beeblebrox was a remote and
nfs server before the update.
Richard suspects that update was using the wrong path (/srvd vs. not-/srvd)
at some point in the update or mkserv.
