The blinking-owl hack was cleverly subtle. People weren't sure at first
whether or not they were really seeing it. In contrast, having the
balls in the IS logo swap places is obvious, even distracting.
I prefer a more subtle animation: A datum starts in the node at the
bottom of the logo, travels along the S to the top node, and echoes
back. Anyone who wants to do the same can copy ~brlewis/bitmaps/is?.xbm
to /etc/athena/login.
